Welcome to Metsa Metronome and Tuner App

I am a classical violinist who has always struggled when learning new pieces with changing time signatures or mixed meter. I couldn’t find a metronome app that could help, so I decided to write my own.

I have tried to make Metsa as simple and intuitive to use as possible (including a traditional full featured metronome for free), whilst including all of the advanced features needed when learning complex new music. I have also added a simple to use chromatic tuner, so you don’t have to keep swapping between apps!

Simple and Advanced:

Metsa offers musicians two distinct modes to enhance their practice sessions.

The always free Simple mode is a traditional metronome, perfect for those who prefer a straightforward counting method.

In contrast, the Advanced mode provides a more sophisticated experience, enabling you to chain together multiple bars with varying time signatures or mixed meters. This feature allows you to tailor your practice to tackle those challenging sections that involve changes in tempo and rhythm. Advanced mode also offers a tuner.

Let Metsa assist you in perfecting your pieces, no matter the complexity. Check out the demo videos below to see these features in action!

Every musician should have this app. It’ll make practising all those pesky pieces with multiple time signatures so much easier.
